What are the delivery costs?
Mainland UK Only – All Orders over £75 (ex vat) will be free of delivery charges. Orders below £75 (ex vat) will incur a £4.99 (ex vat) delivery charge.
This excludes special delivery requirements and non stocked products.
Please ensure prior to ordering, access issues are addressed. Customers will be liable for costs incurred for failed deliveries in these instances.
When should I expect delivery?
Next day delivery on all stock items if order placed before 1pm.
Orders placed after 1pm will be despatched the following working day.
Next day service excludes weekends. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be processed on Monday.
Do I need to sign for my delivery?
Yes, you will need to sign for receipt of delivery.
Can I order by telephone?
Yes we are able to take orders and payment over the phone, please call 02476 694700.
Are the prices shown including vat?
No, all prices displayed do not include vat or delivery charges (if applicable).
If I am not totally satisfied with my goods, can I return them?
If you are not totally satisfied please return goods in the original packaging, unopened within 48 hours of delivery for a full refund.
What happens if I receive a faulty item?
If you receive a faulty item, please notify us by email or in writing within 48 hours of receipt. We would ask you to send it back in its original packaging, unopened, complete with any relevant instruction manuals, where a full refund will be arranged, or a replacement sent out.
What happens if I receive a damaged item or my delivery is short?
Upon Delivery obvious signs of damage must be detailed on the receipt note or drivers paperwork. City Cleaning must be informed within 24 hours in the unlikely event of damaged or short deliveries.
Customers have the right to refuse delivery of damaged items but we would request you inform us on 02476 694700 immediately.
Return of Special Orders
Special order items may not be returned unless damaged or faulty. Special items are those not sold via our website or catalogue and are non-stocked lines.
Returns Policy for Goods Ordered In Error
Stocked lines can be returned for credit within 14 days of purchase (excluding heavy equipment). This is subject to them being unused, in a new condition, and the original packaging fully intact. Goods returned that do not adhere to the above will be rejected upon receipt and returned accordingly. Goods ordered in error are subject to a 15% order value charge to cover the cost of restocking and the associated handling/administration costs.
Non stocked lines
Specially obtained, extended lead time products, and non-catalogue products are supplied on a strictly non-returnable basis.
Items under warranty
Please refer to details supplied on delivery for information on items covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. Items not covered by a commercial warranty cannot be claimed for if used in a commercial environment. Manufacturers covering the items warranty dictate the service arrangements. City Cleaning Supplies will ensure the procedure is handled quickly but customers must be aware that service may be delayed due to weekends, bank or public holidays.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are appropriate for the use and application intended. Although City Cleaning Supplies make every effort to ensure the accuracy of specifications, descriptions, and images, customers are advised to check the exact specifications prior to ordering where variations may affect intended performance.
